A privately operated engineered edge infrastructure facility located in Kampala, Uganda, designed to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade infrastructure in real-world operating conditions. It forms part of a hybrid hosting platform integrating local infrastructure with a UK Tier III data centre, enabling flexible deployment, data residency control, and resilient service delivery.

The facility adopts a low-visibility, security-by-design approach, reducing external exposure while maintaining strict, monitored access. It is designed to continue operating through instability, not merely recover after disruption.

Core Capability

Designed for environments where power and connectivity conditions are variable, UG-KLA01 uses a multi-source power architecture combining grid, generator, solar, and battery systems. This allows the facility to maintain continuous operation through outages and transition events.

Security

Our Edge Infrastructure Facility follows a layered security model combining physical and logical controls. Physical access is controlled via biometric systems and monitored by CCTV. Logical security includes multi-factor authentication, IP-restricted administrative access, and continuous monitoring and alerting.
